Yoke Mount- Arm Systems Only
This yoke mount offers exceptional versatility, compatible with a wide range of airframes. To help you select the best options based on our extensive field testing, please follow these steps:
Choose between the 1” Ball or 17mm Ball Arm System.
Select a phone/tablet clamp that suits your device.
Enjoy easy access to your approach plate without the distraction of looking down or retrieving a suction cup mount from the floor.
The 1” Ball System provides optimal stability during flight but comes with a slightly higher weight. Conversely, the 17mm Ball System is designed to be lightweight and maneuverable; however, the smaller surface area may require tighter clamping to prevent movement during turbulence. Both arm systems have been rigorously tested in various aircraft, including the Mooney M20C, C152, and C172N/R/S, demonstrating their effectiveness in positioning your EFB exactly where you need it.
As a guideline, if you plan to use a full-size iPad, we recommend the 1” Ball System. For devices smaller than a full-size iPad, opt for the 17mm Ball System. Each option has its merits, allowing you to choose based on your specific needs.
